Day Barge Trip at Bath along the Kennet & Avon Canal, Wednesday 20th August 2014
A group of ten travelled from Weston-super-Mare and Yatton by train to Bath. Arriving at Sydney Wharf, Bath, we boarded our barge “Pamela” for a six hour trip along the Kennet and Avon canal. A new experience for all, especially for Spud piloting the barge. The weather was dry and sunny. We arrived back at Weston at 8pm after a tiring but memorable day.
Aileen, Ernest, Spud, Matthew, Jean, Kym, Andy, Russ, Su & Jayne aboard Pamela before out memorable trip
