Russ, James, Alun, Andrew, Tony, Matthew and Jean in the conservatory
James on the challenge course. He had to pass from one end to other without touching the coloured strings. If he did Alun's Hippopotamus went quack quack. There were lots of quacks!!!
James
Graham Smith, Matthew Stevens, Spud Milsom and Su on the see-saw on the challenge course and Alun, our wonderful instructor, supervising. The idea was when the snooker ball was in the middle of the drainpipe they were balanced in the middle. If the base tipped because they were wriggling about on the platform and the ball fell out of the drainpipe the people on the platform had to make tea/coffee during our break time. They made the tea!

Beautiful rhododendruns in the hedgerow on our way into the forest across the road from the main Centre.
Low ropes in the forest. This was an amazing challenge. Charlotte and Alun helping James, our first volunteer, onto the the wire. We had to balance on the galvanised wire, hold onto the rope, if we could find it, and move along the wire by finding the next rope in line. A lot of movement on the wire and wobbling whilst trying to catch hold of the ropes. Exciting and fun!
Charlotte and Alun helping James once he was on the low ropes.
Su moving along the wire.
Charlotte helping Su; Jean and Spud have joined the in the task. I forgot to say there were three people on the wire at the same time. What fun!

Andrew on the lower rope which was easier. If you pushed the top rope with your hands it dislodged the other members who were on them. Great fun!
